|Personal History||Turol, was born in 2229 on Vulcan.
His parents were both members of the Vulcan Science Directorate. Turol grew up with the plans of attending the Science Directorate, but was fascinated more by space travel. He chose to attend Starfleet Academy and focused on helm officer training. He was in the Laurentian System with part of the Federation Fleet when he received news that his home world had been destroyed. He was part of the fleet that rushed to Earth to intercept the Narada, but the future vessel had been destroyed by USS Enterprise before the time the fleet arrived.
Turol considered leaving Starfleet. However, as the Vulcan government became less involved with Federation Policies, he noticed the rise of more militaristic tendencies. These tendencies, driven by certain Andorian and Human factions, caused him to decide to stay in Starfleet. He feels that Vulcans, now more than ever, have a responsibility to balance the more violent tendencies of their Federation allies.
When Lt. Commander Christopher James was given command of the USS Defiant, Turol chose to assist his friend and former crew mate by acting as Interim Helm Officer until a long term replacement could be found.
|Service Record||Previously served as Helm Officer with Commander James aboard the Aldrin.|
